点评:I chanced upon this place and immediately thought my 90 year old mum would be interested as her background was working in labs with plants.
I emailed them a couple of days before our visit and had a very kind and helpful response immediately so felt quite confident that my mum would manage the visit. We were able to park right outside the gates so she didn’t have a hike up the lane first. The signs around the gardens are full of information and the whole place was fascinating. We came away with honey, sage tea, echinacea tincture and pain relief balm! And the lady in the shop listened patiently to my mum- thank you!
Any downsides? Maybe one personal preference- I don’t like rusting tat mixed up with nature! I love works of art- mosaics, musical instruments made from bamboo etc but not old metal Ikea stools etc.. BUT it didn’t detract from the experience really, just that the gardens would be so much more beautiful without it. (In my opinion!)
