Great base to explore Brunei dive sites from
Oceanic Quest Dive Center的点评
点评：Fabulous diving in Brunei fully supported by Oceanic Quest
We wanted to book our diving before we booked our flights to Brunei to ensure we would get the dive sites we wanted to see (as we lived in Brunei and thoroughly enjoyed all the diving). So we emailed Steven and his team at Oceanic Quest. We received an immediate response from Steven and he fulfilled all our requests with excellent planning and a full package.
We completed 4 days diving with 3 dives a day, to the wrecks including American, Australian, Blue Water, Cement and Dolphin 88, reefs eg Abana including key macro sites, where Stenly our guide found everything from frog fish, seahorse, to microscopic nudi's and shrimps. We also requested 1 day from Jerudong (there is a surcharge for fuel but worth it for the different diving) for the fabulous Blunt rock (we could have done all 3 dives there; schools of batfish, carpets of anemones, a swim through to psychedelic batwing nudi's), hornet reef and hard coral sites.
We also stayed with Oceanic Quest for 2 nights at their onsite lodge - they provided simple clean accomodation and good local food (which even included a sourdough loaf for breakfast and afternoon snacks!). There is a pool suitable for diver training as well as cooling off after a day on the sea. They can also provide airport pick ups. There is a shop in case you forget/break any dive items. Oceanic Quest has a range of boats depending on your group size and dive location.
We would recommend Nitrox for the dives, especially the wreck dives as you still don't get long enough to explore! We also could have done another day's diving to explore some of the other reefs in the area.
Overall we had a fabulous well organised dive trip for our return to Brunei.
