First time visitor - Lovely little zoo
Manor Wildlife Park的点评
点评：This was my first ever visit to Manor. I primarily went to do the rhino experience. I asked when booking if I could meet Zamba as I used to adopt his mum many years ago when he was still a tiny calf. The park were kind enough to fulfil this request. I really enjoyed the experience. It has been a dream of mine for many years to meet a rhino and it was worth the wait. I still cannot believe it happened, especially at the bottom of Wales!! Thank you so much to Grace for making it a wonderful experience.
The zoo is small but it’s clear the animals are well loved and cared for. The map was a little confusing but the staff were very approachable. There are several walkthrough exhibits and it was refreshing to see the animal/human interaction. There is definitely room for improvement but you can see that this improvement work is being carried out and they are doing excellent work with the resources they have. Work was active on the bear enclosure during my visit. I think a lot of people forget that the large zoos in the UK started off small too but these things take time to build up.
I had a lovely panini in the cafe and an ice cream later on as it started to rain. The gift shop was well stocked with plenty of options.
