Yard owner is a scammer !

点评：Came here for work experience during 2020, it was arranged via Facebook. The yard owner himself was not present and when I messaged to ask where he was I was told to just ‘look for someone’. Went for one day, all I was doing was mucking out all day. I own horses myself so I know for a fact I shouldn’t have just been their dosser and doing all the jobs they did not want to do.
I was there for 1 day, they told me to leave early as I was ‘not needed’. I never returned after 1 day due to the absolute state of the horses. Fields were all just pure mud, horses standing in mud all day long (mud fever galore), hay just chucked into middle of the field which then got trodden into the mud. Water troughs covered in absolute filth. The whole yard was just dirty, they never ever took precautions regarding strangles at all. No care for their animals or staff by looks of it.
Place has been shut down and now they aren’t paying their staff their wages or even refunding lessons. They have literally just shut down and disappeared.
