Bike crash, no phone, no refund

点评：Rented and rode bikes halfway around the island to Silver Birches with my husband. On the way back my pedal fell of the bike completely. As a result I fell down and get somewhat banged up. In the process my cellphone (the only one we had with us) fell out of the basket and into the shrubs near the path. We did not realize at the time where the phone went but it left us unable to call for help. I ended up limping the bike several miles back to town. The next morning when I went to return the bike, fully expecting some type of compensation, the young girl shoved the receipt in my face stating very unapologetically "we gave you our number it's circled RIGHT HERE, since you did not call us NO REFUND." Again, my phone was lost in the crash that your bike caused. So even if I had my phone, what then? I wait an hour for a new bike to get ridden out to us that I could barely ride with my banged up knee? The bike was hardly worth the $95 spent, some young employee was rude and condescending, so no thanks on my repeat business, I'll limp on over to another company.
