点评：We went on the 2 hour afternoon tea trip, which took place on the Thistle (1895) ship. The boat can hold 50 passengers when sailing. There were 33 passengers on our trip.
When I read it was afternoon tea, I was expecting finger sandwiches, a variety of cakes and scones. However, we had a slice of Victoria sponge cake and a scone. A little disappointing, but they did taste nice. We were able to help ourselves to the cream and jam. These were in bowls on the side. You have to eat on your laps as there are no tables. You can eat downstairs or take your plate up on deck. There is a bar downstairs for soft or alcoholic drinks (card payments).
If you wanted cushions for the seats, you need to collect these from downstairs. Staff members did not mention this. If you want some information about the route, they have a double-sided a4 page with information to read.
Staff members were polite, friendly, and helpful. Some staff members helped guests on and off the boat if they found it difficult, and they were very patient with this.
2 hours was the perfect length of time. It was so peaceful sailing the waters. I like that there is no music playing and you can just enjoy the quietness and views.
