As Tour Operators, Tusci Car Service Rises Above the Rest

点评：Our first three days in Italy were eye-opening, but not for reasons you might guess.
We had the good fortune of reserving a private tour with Tusci Car Service. We told brothers Alessandro and Leonardo that we did not want a customary tour of Florence. They obliged!
There was not a moment of awkward silence in either of our two seven-hour days of driving. Both brothers kept the conversation light and informative, and our adventure into the Tuscan countryside was the highlight of our ten-day visit to Italy. On day one Leonardo even added a side trip to an olive orchard he knew of to buy freshly milled olive oil for us to give as gifts.
Alessandro, the proprietor, shared our fascination with remote Sant’Anna di Stazzema, and skillfully managed the narrow roads and hairpin turns leading up to it. We truly regret not taking him up on his offer to navigate just a little further up the mountain to the Ossuary commemorating the events of 1943, but the nice thing about customized tours is that you can edit them on the fly. Group tours don’t do that.
Compare that with day three.
On day three we took a Cruise ship sponsored group tour to Rome. Seated in the back half of the bus we could not hear, never mind participate in conversations up front with the guide. We had no say about the itinerary, nor even ask questions as others could, even after we bravely suggested to the tour guide that he try to include us.
When in Tuscany, I very highly recommend the services of Alessandro and Leonardo of Tusci Car Services. For 2+ passengers they are surprisingly affordable, and you get much more for your money.
More than just a tour company, Alessandro and Leonardo are like family showing you around.

在托斯卡纳，我强烈推荐Tusci Car Services的Alessandro和Leonardo的服务。对于2人以上乘客来说，他们的服务价格出奇地实惠，而且物超所值。
