Shed 24H at Hellifield Station的点评
点评：Shed 24H, located on the central platforms at Hellifield Railway Station, provides both a wonderful trip in railway nostalgia and really decent food at reasonable prices. The Staff are welcoming and friendly and there is so much to see in the lovely spacious room. The place seems well patronised and deservedly so! There is also an apartment sleeping four (The Yorkshire Sleeper) which is available for rent throughout the year. As it was changeover day (Friday), I got to see the apartment (it's lovely) and made a booking soon afterwards. It's a climb up a staircase (twenty seven steps) but hey tell you that in the brochure, so it wasn't a surprise. The whole complex has a nice atmosphere and it's now no longer somewhere to catch a train! When the weather is fine you can sit at a table outside on the 'up' platform (or is it 'down'?) and watch the world go by, including the trains, but the views are lovely too, and there are plenty of walks from the Railway Station. There is a convenience store in Hellifield, but it's only a short distance (by rail or road) to Settle where there are plenty of shops, including a large Booths Store. Recommended is the 'Fireman's Breakfast', but all the food is good quality and tasty. It was a pleasure to find this gem in the countryside. Pay a visit, I doubt you will be disappointed.
