Superb Breakfast and great hospitality
Shed 24H at Hellifield Station的点评
点评：Had to change our plans at the last minute, when we found out that the ‘Tornado’ steam train wouldn’t be leaving from Bradford Forster Square as planned, instead joining at Hellifield.
We had planned to take my elderly and infirm Dad, an avid train spotter in his day, to Skipton station, but then needed to make alternative arrangements.
Rang up the day before to see if they could accommodate a wheelchair, and also to check if they had black pudding on their fireman’s breakfast.
They offered to reserve us a table, which was much appreciated. As they were opening up and the surge of people wanted refreshments, they let us in first and showed us to our table.
The fireman’s breakfast was fantastic. All freshly cooked, with lovely thick bacon, tasty sausage, Dad said the ‘best’ black pudding, and plenty of toast.
Whilst there isn’t a disabled toilet, the gents does have a large cubicle that they were happy for us to use (and it was nice and clean!)
Thanks to you all for looking after us, you certainly helped us have a great day.
We will definitely return if we are in the area.
