点评:We love Bristol Harbourside, and used to have a holiday home there, so we've been visiting for two decades. The Harbourside is better than ever; however, the Harbour Festival is a shadow of its former glories. Gone are the fireworks (10 years ago?), and the varied interesting vendors from Hanover Quay, the area east of Millennium Square, and the area south east of Princes Bridge. The food stalls lining two sides of Queen Square have gone, replaced by large, generic festival grub stands. The food outlets are generally larger, more expensive and offer less variety. The music remains free, but this year I hadn't heard of a single one of the performers (I always used to know a few). When we last went the crowds were huge; this year it was fairly busy, but surprisingly quiet for a Saturday afternoon. All in all a disappointment
