点评：We had some free time in Forks, found John's Beachcoming Museum and decided to give it a go. What an unexpected surprise! Please do not call this junk - everything in the museum was collected by John and his friends over the past 4 decades. The amount of items he amassed was staggering; imagine if all of these things were just left on the beaches! It is clear that this was his lifelong passion, and the way he displayed the items in the museum was well thought-out, plus a good sense of humor!
He has a list of special items that are marked by a pink star. Other remarkable things include a special shrine for items washed ashore after the Japanese Tsunami, walls of Japanese whiskey and sake bottles, beautiful collection of glass buoys, ceilings' full of crab bait plastic containers, different collections of container spills, and thousands and thousands of plastic buoys of all sizes.
John is there to greet you and happy to show you around and share stories with you. Well-worth the $5 admission price ($2 for youth). it will open your eyes and your mind.
