There were times it felt like we were in a National Geographic documentary as we searched for elusive bait ball action

点评：We came for the bait balls but that was just the icing on the cake. Can’t say enough about the smooth running operation, and teamwork of Offshore Africa.
We spent 6 days on the sea with expert skipper, Calvin, and biologist and guide, Donovan. These guys were so passionate about the whole experience and invested in us having the trip of our dreams whether it was the perfect photo, or finding that species of animal you hoped to see. Every day, even the quiet ones where the bait balls evaded us, they ensured that we saw the very best that the sea and the scenery had to offer. We explored the coastline to find bottlenose dolphins to swim with, get great shots of waterfalls and gannet nests, and find rare birds like the beautiful blue king fisher. We saw incredible sealife, from pods of 200 and 500+ migrating dolphins to humpbacks checking us out in the boat. Donovan was a wealth of information every time we found floating debris as we explored the sea life that made it their home. Once we did not collect a flip flop into the boat because it was home to a crab couple and the female was pregnant! Although we had a couple of quiet days, these guys worked so hard and drove that boat so far to make sure we had a full sardine run bait ball experience! They did not disappoint with a sail fish, sharks, a fur seal, Bryde whale, humpback, and endless dolphins.
I am impressed with how all of the staff across boats supported each other whether it was a needed snorkel or fuel, or just communication about where the action was.
Debbie was always checking in about the land side experience, making sure the whole operation was smooth. Thanks, OA! We will be back.
