What a beautiful little gem hidden away with breathtaking views.

点评：We visited this by accident but were so happy we did. Sign outside says Scotland open garden!
We had stopped at the beach opposite.
Two adults and a young child (6yrs) we were greeted at the gate with a friendly smile and told to just look walk around anywhere.
If you love anything garden related and country style then this is an absolute treat for you. It has mature gardens with the most beautiful flowers, ponds, trees, birds watching areas and a natural stream.
There is a few seating areas if the weather is bad or sunny with the most wonderful views out to the sea.
When you get closer to the house there is a waterfall (yes!) a waterfall in the garden and it’s stunning.
The paths are a little unsteady in places if you have problems with walking.
There is a path above the waterfall but it’s not been accessed for some time and difficult for the most active person.
Overall this is about a 1 hour walk around on a sunny day. But that’s all dependent on what you like doing you could take a book and lounge in the wooden seating areas no problem.
My child loved the gardens and finding hiding spots and wildlife.
£5 donation left in the honesty box near the house, it’s for cancer research.
I think this is worth a look just to appreciate the house and gardens it’s such a wonderful beauty.
