点评：My wife and I set out to explore Corfu from the port at Kerkira, through a wonderful blend of natural beauty, traditional villages, and archaeological sites.
We travelled past olive, lemon, orange, and cypress groves on the way to the Paleokastritsa area.
A phot stop from the Kanoni Viewpoint, of the twin islets of Vlachernae and Mouse dominates the view.
Reaching the Old Town of Corfu. This is best seen on foot, is a blend of medieval and modern.The old and new fortresses still bear the insignia of the Venetian Republic. A walk along the Esplanade, with palms and eucalyptus planted by the French, there is an British colonial cricket pitch which is were everyone parks the cars around and the Palace of St Michael & St George -- once home to Corfu's British rulers.it is a maze of narrow streets as you walk through small plazas to the Church of St Spiridon, with its distinctive bell tower. It is dedicated to the Patron Saint of the island.
