点评：My wife and I visited Upper Farm Fishery yesterday - what a beautiful and tranquil place to spend a day fishing! I am just re-starting, having last fished aged about 14 - now 66! Needless to say, I’ve forgotten so much and am out-of-touch, even with the terminology, which Emma (?) in the tackle shop gently and kindly corrected me 👍😂.
She also helped so I don’t fall foul of their regulations before I’ve even started! She isn’t very well at the moment, so I really thank her and wish her well! Plus she tried to curb my initial enthusiasm, by suggesting I visit a few times using Day-Tickets, rather than leap right in with a Season Ticket pass - which says a lot about their integrity 👍
My wife and I then had a walk around the lakes. It wasn’t crowded at all, even though it’s still the school holidays. Each peg is well spaced out - I started noting which ones I’d choose, but then ran out as all of them look excellent!
There’s plenty of parking right by the lakes, plus toilets and of course the Tackle shop. Once I’ve completed setting myself up with the necessary tackle and stuff, I’ll certainly be booking some sessions!
