Enjoyed the mountain but if this is skiing no thank you !

点评：Loved the views and location-- but wow I was terrified on the runs. I have been skiing for 5 decades -- but alas I am not in the physical condition of a teenager-- however, my teenager was also terrified. Sheet of ice with some light dusting of powder- no enjoyment here. I could deal with the rapid lifts, constant uphills, and weird curved hills, with no discernible fall line- but that ice spelled danger to me! I stayed focused the entire time on not getting injured, conjuring my youth in New England skiing on ice. These was the worst conditions I have experienced outside of New Hampshire - long solid sheets--on steep hills. I regretted not getting skies with better edges.
I also didn't appreciate being charged so much $ we began skiing at 2:15 pm and weren't informed that we should wait 40 minutes and the price would be 2/3s less. We were unable to get into Shasta and thus came up here. I can't recommend here-- I just can't-- it's too difficult for a geriatric skier-- perhaps if the conditions were better.
