点评：We like to visit vineyard/wineries, and so far we've diligently tasted flights at over 100 of them. So far, our 2024 travels unfortunately took us to more disappointing ones than otherwise--so I'm happy to report that Brianza started a new good streak.
I would not have suspected that Crittenden KY would have such an ambitious facility as this. The extensive vineyard grounds contain not only a very nice, high-occupancy tasting room, but they also offer lodgings and an event center. The "gardens" part of the name is well deserved, with the grounds tastefully landscaped and well maintained.
We got two tasting flights, one whites and one reds, and enjoyed the agreeable weather on their patio. As usually happens, most of their varieties were not to my taste--your taste no doubt is different from mine--most of their wines had a sharp, acidic taste. But there was one white, their Vidal Blanc, that pleased me--interestingly ascerbic and complex like the author Gore Vidal! Among the reds, the Italian Stallion blend was pleasing. So we found a couple of bottles worthy of taking home and using at a nice supper.
As a bonus, they keep a couple of very friendly, well behaved Spaniels. A good dog or two is always a plus for a vineyard.
Overall the experience was so enjoyable that I'm wondering if we want to do an overnight here sometime.
