Ok but would try elsewhere when I return!

点评：Did the job for a day but probably would look elsewhere if returning to Mallorca….
I hired a bike for a day….i didn’t have a lot of time as I was away with family and also didn’t have a lot of time to shop around. I just needed to rent a bike for a day and sort it quickly.
I first opted for a Trek Madone as I ride a more aero type bike with slightly more aggressive geometry at home in the UK…this was where the first gripe started. Having not ridden in Mallorca before I realised shortly after booking I had chosen the wrong bike….all the best routes are very mountainous and contain a lot of climbing. I asked if I could change the booking but they made me feel really awkward for even asking even though they had alternative bikes in front of me in the right size and said if they did It would be at full price no part refunds. A bit off I thought and left a bit of a sour taste. I dtuck with the Madone…couldn’t be bothered to argue and for a day wasn’t going to be too much of an issue.
Bike did the job and covered 100km with no issues although the bottom bracket was clicking its ass off the whole 60 miles and the bike for a 2024 model was cosmetically scruffy.
I took all my own kit bar helmet….i rented one of their helmets. Again looked as if it had been dropped a dozen times and although riding Trek Madone Aero Road Bike they gave me an MTB helmet with a peak!
The other remaining piss take but I notice a fair few shops do it, €3 euro to hire a Garmin Mount! This is the rubber band type crap that comes free in the box! I’m sure they could chuck this in the hire!
In summary there are better shops that offer better equipment and better value.

总之，有更好的商店提供更好的设备和更高的性价比。
