Studio Movie Grill (The Colony)的点评
点评：Having never been to a movie theater that sells and delivers alcohol to your seat I was wondering, why don't I live here (Texas)? I've been to Regal theaters in California that do sell alcohol but they suck at it. Mainly because CA is a crappy state when it comes to making a law for every thing and because Regal keeps their red wines in the refrigerator. Bad! Bad! If you are in California, find a SMG and/or AMC. They at least do things right (as much as California lets them).
So another thing this theater does right (in Texas) is you order everything from your seat. So, unlike AMC, you don't wait in a line. You have a waiter/waitress come to you. The seats are further apart side to side and in front of you so the waiter isn't squeezing between seats like at AMC. Need another beer? Push a button and the waiter comes and takes your order, then delivers it to you. You can also use their app to order and have them deliver it quicker. The food was actually pretty good. Like you'd imagine it would be in Texas.
The experience was so nice that I sought out my local SMG here in Cali. But because of our laws they cannot bring you the beer, you have to get up and order it from the bar. I cannot understand why you can order a beer in a restaurant from the table, but you cannot do it in a movie theater? Cali sucks, but this theater in Texas is on point!
