A small museum that takes you back in time

点评：Well worth a visit if you are interested in Scottish history, the origins of the Nation and like to learn. Excellent for mobility impaired with parking directly outside and the museum all on ground level, also the loos!
Very well displayed artifacts and lots of good information to hand, along with friendly and very helpful staff.
The museum takes you from the dawning of Scotland through it's history to an exhibit area regarding the stay of Polish soldiers during World War II. There is a superb walk into scene of period shops with the chance to not only look into the windows of the grocers, the toy shop, the printers and more but to be able to go into these establishments gives great pleasure to visitors such as myself.
A temporary exhibition is on display at the moment regarding Lamington and it's history.
Overall a lovely visitor attraction. No cafe but no lack of refreshments close by. Highly recommend a visit.
