Statfold Country Park的点评
点评：We've been coming to Statfold a couple of times a year since about 2018. It's changed from being open to the public on special occasions to a fully fledged tourist attraction in that time, and yet it still retains its heart.
There is so much for a family to do here, and I'm especially impressed by the range of ages covered - younger ones will enjoy the soft play, outdoor playgrounds and colouring areas; older children will enjoy the clip 'n' climb and roller disco, and there's fun for all ages at the mini golf and nature trail - I haven't even mentioned the engines yet! If that's not enough, there's also a vintage fairground museum which is due to open for the May half term.
There is usually one steam engine and one diesel engine running on a general open day, and you can ride on either as many times as you like. The steam engine does a loop around, and you get to watch it on the turntable at Strawberry Park. The drivers and firemen are always really friendly and will happily chat to anyone who wants to know more. The diesel engine on the light railway takes you to the nature walk and to the fairground museum.
If possible, try to time your visit with one of the big open days, as that's when the park really comes alive. There is a wide range of events through the year - we've been to the Road, Rail and Ale festival and "Statfold goes Jurassic" previously and really enjoyed both.
There is a decent spread of hot and cold food and drink at the Peeler's Bar, but there is also a seating area if you want to bring your own.
