Not the best Children's Play facilities in the area
The Walks的点评
点评：The Walks is a popular place throughout the year, especially during the summer, however the children's play area doesn't have many things in it and it becomes extremely crowded at weekends or during the school holidays.
The play area itself could do with updating and would benefit from more child-friendly play equipment. The climbing frame which is aimed at older children is literally one of the worst in the area, and isn't the safest thing to let your children climb on. The play area at Gaywood Park is better than the one at The Walks.
There is also a 'Parkour park' which was added in 2012 for the benefit of the King's Lynn Free Runners, a small group that wanted somewhere to practice their Parkour skills on. It seems that the group in question seems to have disappeared from existence now, leaving us with a pointless, ugly concrete monstrosity that looks like it was stolen from a run down inner-city area.
It is a shame the council didn't add something that would benefit a wider range of children and teenagers, like a skatepark or a sandpit play area instead.
There is also a crazy golf course, located next to the shop and toilets, although again, it looks cheap and run-down, but fortunately, they don't charge you much to use it, so if your kids are bored from trying to amuse themselves in the play area, then you can at least let them run riot on the crazy golf.
