If you are expecting to see animals happily living their lives I would not recommend.

You enter the petting zoo through an arcade. First room before entering the actual “zoo” is a dimly lit room that has an aquarium and a turtle. You wait at a sliding glass door and are quickly told the rules of what animals not to feed (which little kids don’t adhere to and their parents are not paying attention). Your next stop is a bright room where porcupines, wallabies, a capybara and a small cow wander around accosting everyone for food. The perimeter is filled with various animals who just exist.
The next phase is a very dimly lit area. Straight ahead I could not make out the exact animal in their dark enclosure but they were draped staring down at the floor (alive). Small stacked cages with ferrets (Pet Smart has larger enclosures). A low to the ground guinea pig pen with about 10 inhabitants. Two juvenile wallabies pacing back and forth in a small pen caddy corner to a similarly small pen filled with sheep and goats (about 8) all clamoring for the lettuce in the $8 feed pail. Last stop is the reptile room…where most things were either empty or looked like a home terrarium. Also in that room were the sloths…whose only natural thing was a dead fig tree. The windows were yellowed and all was dim.
I regret giving this place my money and will be making a donation to an actual rescue organization to help animals in situations such as this.
Animals shouldn’t live in a strip mall so little kids can say they saw something.
