点评:I am what I call myself a creative cook. I take ingredients from the kitchen and what we grow or get at local market and make something new. When traveling I love to head to the local grocery store or in this case the Pure Sea Salt shop for unique ingredients. I just about fainted at the amazing aroma and taste of the alderwood smoked sea salt. I bought the big jar and haven't looked back. Some experiements were better than others but today twist on split pea soup was the best I've ever made. Two pinches of Alaskan alderwood smoked sea salt and three pinches of a smoked paprika a friend gave me from Hungry along with other little touches all cooked up to a most amazing pot of soup.
Try it in some mashed potatoes! Salt a beef tenderloin before smoking it! Just a pinch with the broccoli. So many ways to "spice" up your cooking!!!!!
