Massive potential but no back up if the dolphins don't play ball

点评：We went on this tour knowing full well there is no guarantee of seeing dolphins. We were unfortunate there was no sightings during our trip. There was no engagement on the boat about the area which has such an interesting history. There was one announcement about the history of Kilrush Marina and that was it for 2.5 hours.
I'm a former local and our family could have been the only Irish family on the boat so really feel for visitors on the boat with us thinking is this it?
We passed Scattery Island, Kilcredaun Lighthouse, Carrigaholt, Ballybunion and of course the Shannon and it's importance to Ireland.
Something about what we were here to see being the dolphins would have not gone astray.
It was a glorified ferry and could have caught the dolphins there going from Tarbert to Glin for a similar experience.
Setting dolphins world have been amazing but something is needed for the guests on the days you are not so lucky
