Ypres 19-22 September 2024 - The RGJ Association: London Branch

点评：This was our first trip with Rifleman Tours & the London Branch of the RGJ Association and we were really looking forward to tour the battlefields of Ypres.
We found the tour hosts Tony & Allison to be very professional, organised and polite - Tony proved to be very experienced & knowledgeable on all aspects, of all of the sites on the tour. Additionally, he very sensitively pitched his brief(s) according to the types of memorials & sites visited...that in itself is a skill!
The itinerary has been clearly been honed to a very enjoyable experience with ample lunch breaks to eat well & take in all of the various sights at hand. We both found Tony & Allison are very friendly and accomplished at ensuring the trip was really enjoyable tour - with some really nice personal touches thrown in during stops where snacks & refreshments were laid on but also en-route to venues too.
The accommodation was immaculate & central to Ypres, making it very easy to walk to the local restaurants & enjoy the evenings.
In summary, this was a really enjoyable trip expertly laid on by Rifleman Tours & I would also add that the overall warm & friendly atmosphere was enhanced by all the members London Branch of the RGJ Association - a great group of people. We both look forward to the next planned trip.
If Carlsberg did battlefield tours...then it would definitely be in the form of Rifleman Tours.
