Humble by Nature的点评
点评：Was given a voucher as a birthday present for an Activity at Humble by Nature.
Many of the most popular Experiences seem to get booked up very quickly so we settled on Cider Making despite neither of us drinking the stuff. Wasn't sure what to expect but we actually loved it. After tea / coffee and an introduction we were driven a couple of miles to a small orchard where we picked apples. Great fun.
After an hour or two we returned to the Humble Farm where we were given an excellent lunch. Lovely food with amazing homemade bread. In the afternoon we took part in mulching and pressing the apples to produce juice. Again, a lot of fun. At the end we were all given a large container to take away containing the liquid apple juice we had produced which should convert to cider in a couple of months' time. The Course ended with cider tasting (with different ciders provided by James who ran the course), and tea / coffee with cakes. All in all a top day and a big thank you to James who ran the course so well with plenty of humour, and was really helpful and informative. Would definitely consider returning to do another activity there sometime. As for our cider, we'll taste it in a couple of months and probably donate it to a good home
