Exclusive tour with Rene and Miguel
Yucatan Cenote Eco-Aventuras的点评
点评：We took the Semi-Private Adventure tour with guide Rene and driver Miguel and we had a blast! There were 3 other passengers in our group and we were in a very comfortable mini van.
Our first stop was the Ake Ruins and Rene gave good background information and history. There were 2 Carnival excursion buses and they were listening to Rene too, probably because they didn't get the attention from their own guides. Rene hiked up the 2nd pyramid with us when no one else from those buses did. It's a VIP treatment.
The 2nd stop was a community owned cenote and our group were the only people there. We had a great time swimming and paddling in the kayak. Lunch was delicious and Rene busted out a bottle of tequila. It was so much fun.
The cenote is owned and operated by the village where everyone took turn cooking and taking care of the place. In turns, they share profits. I think that's a pretty cool idea.
We returned to the cruise ship terminal with plenty of time left. I'm very pleased with the tour as it felt exclusive, compared to the big bus ones. 5 stars all the way!
