点评：I just saw The King's Speech at the Miller Theatre. It was a truly enjoyable play from a bygone era, executed with genuine heart.
The staging was exceptional. The layout was in-the-round, meaning audience members view from all four sides. I was seated behind the actors, but the cast's positioning and dynamic flow ensured every viewer got a fair show. The actors were so subtle in their movements that they captured the back audience without compromising the front. It was a masterclass in staging!
I also experienced exceptional service. I dropped an earplug behind my seat. After struggling for a few minutes, a kind member of staff quickly located it. Even though it had fallen behind the stagger and I thought it was lost, they retrieved a tool and found it. The entire process was completely fuss-free and Ibwas blown away by their determination to help.
A lovely evening overall, thanks to both the wonderful production and the truly lovely people working at the theatre. Highly recommended.
