Much better than expected - good way to cross from Palermo to Naples

点评：Having read the many appalling reviews we were a bit nervous about booking and had low expectations of the experience. In practice our overnight ferry from Palermo to Naples was absolutely fine - boarding at Palermo (foot passengers) was straightforward, we were able to get our (outside double) cabin key quickly and deposit our bags. Wandered round the ship (Vincenzo Floria - Moby line) and had a drink and something (very) simple to eat in the bar area before turning in for the night. Yes it’s looking slightly worn but everything worked, pretty decent nights sleep on firm but good sized beds, cabin bathroom had clean towels and was clean. I was glad I knew to expect to be woken at 5:50am with first warning to get out of the cabin. Great to see Vesuvius on the approach into Naples. Overall a good way to travel, as long as you are not expecting fancy which we weren’t.
