Fun Safari at Animal Kingdom

点评：We had a fun time on the Kilimanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom. There was no line at 5 p.m. on an off-peak weekday (the last safari was 6 p.m. on the day we were there). The safari is a narrated 20 minute tour in a covered open-air truck.
Sit on the left side of the truck for the best views of the animals. We saw a lot of wildlife - a group of hippos in the water, a flock of pink flamingos, a sleeping lion and roaming lioness on Pride Rock, a pooping cheetah, a herd of elephants with baby elephants, a pack of African painted dogs, crocodiles lounging in the water, playful goats and different types of antelope. We got close-up views of the giraffes and rhinos that were walking along the road. Bring binoculars for better viewing.
Note that it is a very bumpy ride and you really get jostled about - one guest almost dropped her cell phone outside the truck while taking photos.
