Mama Toucan's Natural and Organic Food Store的点评
点评：I’ve been coming to the Dominical, Costa Rica area since around 1994. I always like returning to those restaurants and stores that do me right.
I have shopped at Mama Toucan’s more times than I can count. They always have an awesome selection of the most healthy and organic food. They have a “deli like” part of their grocery store. When I come to Costa Rica solo, I rarely want to cook for just myself.
I find it SUPER convenient (and healthy), so the perfect thing for a single person to drop in and get a few meals to go. (Admittedly this is way healthier than what I could grab stateside…)
Anyway, I noticed on this trip that they have taken over a restaurant space that was attached to their grocery store. They remodeled it, and it looks so much better. (It went from being a dark cave to being open, bright and all windows.) The staff must love the change!
I went there for the first time this week, and got the most amazing burrito. It’s sort of a “build your own burrito” place. You point to the things you love. No Spanish required!
The real thing that makes the burrito so good is that the tortillas are off the chain. I don’t know exactly what voodoo magic they do with them, but they are crispy and soft all the right places. I noticed that there is a piece of foil between EACH tortilla… I guess to protect all that yumminess.
It’s hard to put it into words, but the tortilla itself was so awesome, I could’ve eaten it with just butter.
The burrito I built was all I had hoped for.
I was there with two other guys. We’re all over 6 feet tall and arrived with healthy appetites. We could not finish a single burrito, since they are so big. So we all took our OTHER half home, had an awesome lunch the very next day.
I will return this place again and again, and I can highly recommend coming hungry!

这周我第一次去了那里，买到了一个超级好吃的墨西哥卷饼。这家店有点像“自选墨西哥卷饼”店。你可以指着自己喜欢的食材点餐，完全不需要会说西班牙语！
这家卷饼之所以这么好吃，关键在于它的饼皮简直绝了。我不知道他们用了什么魔法，但饼皮酥脆又柔软，恰到好处。我注意到每张饼皮之间都夹着一层锡纸……我想是为了保护里面的美味吧。
很难用语言形容，但饼皮本身就非常美味，就算只抹点黄油我也爱吃。
我做的卷饼完全符合我的预期。
我和另外两个朋友一起去的。我们都超过六英尺高，而且胃口都很好。结果一个卷饼都没吃完，因为实在是太大了。所以我们各自打包了剩下的，第二天又吃了一顿丰盛的午餐。
我一定会再来这家店，而且强烈建议大家饿着肚子来！
