点评：I recently spent a week in Sahl Hasheesh and went diving with Subex (Baron Palace) on four days.
Everything worked out perfectly.
The prior coordination with Verena via email, including all necessary details and prices, was excellent. Response times were always within a day.
On-site, everything went smoothly with Hansi as well. The dives with him on all days were a lot of fun, and the best part was that after my almost three-year break, he patiently took the time to help me get back into diving, including equipment setup and assembly. I also appreciated the Welcome Dive (aka Check Dive), which is a safety measure that shows they take safety seriously here.
I also found the equipment and the ample space at the base very good. Oh, and not to forget, the standard minimal enrichment of air with Nitrox helps reduce fatigue after diving. So, anyone planning multiple dives per day with Subex will enjoy this feature.
Additionally, the (Egyptian) staff were always extremely polite and ready to help at any time. What I particularly liked here was that none of them, as is sometimes the case elsewhere in Egyptian dive schools, immediately held out their hands for tips.
Definitely a reason to consider stopping by Subex in Sahl Hasheesh again later or next year.
