Menstrie Castle Stay的点评
点评：Had a lovely three night stay in the Baronet Apartment. It was cold outside, but so cozy inside!
Days were spent out and about, so, the fact that the castle is situated on a housing estate close to excellent transport links was a real advantage.
We visited Stirling's Castle and Old Jail, the Kelvingrove Gallery in Glasgow and the fabulous Kelpies. And knew we had a gorgeous home from home to return to at the end of the day. Jamas on, old movies on TV, wine poured. Host Tracey's thoughtful welcome provisions along with the lovely home decor elements were really appreciated.
She also provided a host of info of what to do/where to visit. Really helpful!
We found good eating in Stirling, most notably Brea Scottish Restaurant and the Birds and Bees pub. But there are opportunities for fast food in the village as well as a well stocked small supermarket.
Looking forward to booking again in the summer to try some of the local walking trails.
