点评:If you are in the north of Madeira I would say this place is a great stop, especially since it's in a pretty little scenic village with a rocky beach - we visited in December but also first time in May, during the flower fest and it was amazing to see how they had flowers/sugar cane pathway from the distillery all the way to the beach area - very cool!
The tour is free, self-guided and you go through a building that handles just that, and then you make it back to the gift shop/sampling rum - very good quality rum, pricey but excellent!
Parking is fairly limited, there is a parking lot by the beach but it's not really that much compared the area it satisfies so just be patient :)
TIP: while visiting the area I say go to Miradouro do Guindaste (think a modest version of Cabo Girao with a glassy seethrough floor)

提示:在游览该地区时,我建议去 Miradouro do Guindaste(想象一下 Cabo Girao 的简约版本,带有玻璃透明地板)
