Don’t bother there’s better spas around.
The Spa at Mottram Hall的点评
点评：The whole experience was a comedy of errors. We booked the experience for my partner and my recently widowed mum. When we arrived the girl on reception was borderline rude. We had booked 2 treatments at 11am, but she was insistent that we had another one at 3pm and highly recommended we attend it as we will have to pay. Quoting contractual terms and conditions. She’d picked the wrong person to try this with. Needless to say the 3pm booking was removed.
The changing rooms are tiny, we went into a cubicle which was dirty. Drinks from previous occupants were also left on the windowsill. The lockers were broken.
The breakfast did not accommodate any dietary requirements.
The massage was ok, but I’ve never had a full body massage where they start on the back ? Usually they start on the feet. I had a towel where the hole is for your face. So it wasn’t very comfortable. Lunchtime we weren’t on the booking so my partner had to go and get this bit of paper they gave us to prove we had a booking. I’m sure they get numerous people walking in off the street wearing dressing gowns !!!!
When we paid for the drinks they add the VAT without it being part of the price on the menu. Sorry I thought I was in the UK not the US !!!
The seats in the bar are disgustingly dirty. The whole place needs a good clean and the staff need training. Take a trip to Nirvana Spa. It’s a million times better.
