If Wetherspoons did Spa days.
The Spa at Mottram Hall的点评
点评：Arrived at the spa just after 6pm and entered to what could only be described as a scene from a low budget version of Benidorm. There were 8 adults in the hydrotherapy pool who I can only assume were the parents of the 20 so children, that were running around the spa jumping of walls and railings into the shallow pool and generally using the facilities as some sort of water park. The adults responsible for these children were highly intoxicated and were more concerned with their next bottle of wine than the fact their children could seriously hurt themselves. The children ranged in age from about 5 to 12 and were in the hydrotherapy pools the saunas, steam rooms etc. The situation was dangerous and the responsible adults didn’t care about their children or the other guests at the spa.
The management team was no where to be seen and neglected their young staff who were left to deal with drunk and rowdy adults who refused to stop drinking and get out of spa. Champneys should contact Wetherspoons to take advice on their security staff as there is better behaviour from revellers on a night out in town.
So if you’d like to find yourself in the chaos of a drunken noisy kids pool party knock yourself out, otherwise I’d rethink your spa break as this new ‘family swim’ time is apparently to continue until the new year and beyond. Cancel and book somewhere else!
