Peck Farm Park的点评
点评：We went to the Peck farm park primarily to see their butterfly collection. That did not disappoint. The '' house '' was filled with butterflies of all types but mostly Morphos, those large bright blue beauties found in Costa Rica. They do a professional job of maintaining their exhibit and are careful in managing the human guests. The butterfly house was a treat. The farm house was equally impressive, having been built in 1853. The inside held some small animals in tanks and signage explaining the history of the Peck family but no real furniture from that era. The upstairs bedrooms were closed off. Several barns surrounded the grounds but were mostly closed or empty. The silo presented a nice view from four stories up but the climb got pretty hairy in the heat and lack of ventilation. The hundreds of kids found the place a delight I have to say. It was more of a playground than anything else. As the buses unloaded their screaming cargo my wife and I beat a hasty retreat, knowing in a couple of days my hearing will return to normal. Fingers crossed.
