An absolutely amazing experience, the best in Scopello
Segesta Tour 4x4的点评
点评：We had 9 people and wanted to see some of the rural areas. Our hotel recommended we call Giorgio who speaks very good English and we discussed the possibilities.
We tailor made a trip round the vineyards, the orchards and even drove past Segesta. We hired two buggies and felt extremely safe driving them. They have a maximum safe speed and you are very securely belted in. We followed our guide through the fields and hills which was a wonderful experience. In total we made 4 stops, at each stop we sampled some white wine from one of the vineyards, another stop was Prosecco and on the third was Spumante. Our fourth stop, we had a farmers sandwich which was truly delicious. All stops we were offered water or soft drinks as well.
Our guide was super knowledgeable and gave us a huge amount of information about the land, the people and the country which was excellent.
We were picked up from our hotel (Tavernetta) and driven in two Mercedes Vitos for 25 mins to our start point. Our trip was 2.5 hours. There is toilets at the start and end points. We were then driven back.
We had an 83, 77 and 71 year old in our group and they loved every minute so anyone can do it.
This trip was amazing, a wonderful way to see the island without sitting in a car or walking these dangerous roads.
