点评:The noon ferry Larne/Cairnryan was cancelled and I did not receive email or text message before I set off to Larne… no mobile signal where I was staying. So, no choice but to wait 4 hours in the car park.
So 4 hours early and security feel the need to check my boot, bonnet causing even more stress for this 76 year old. I have mobility issues and it was a difficult painful walk to the cafe. The two ladies serving were so gracious and helpful and provided a snack “on them”. Afterwards, I was given £6.00 voucher, coffee was £3.80 so not enough for a snack or the duty free at all. Then I was given a wheelchair assist back to my car. Thanks to lovely employee gentleman for that.
I requested to use the lift on booking and that’s all you can expect… absolutely no assistance to walk to the Club Lounge. The only saving grace of a miserable journey so far, was the help and attention of Raul, the Club Lounge steward. So conscientious, helpful and attentive for the sail.
On docking, again no help to get to the lift fighting the throngs of people heading for the stairs.
I travel on this route several times a year and the only helpful employees have been Octavian and Raul… they deserve recognition, as well as the two ladies at the Larne cafe.
