Terrifying Experience with Unresponsive Kayak Rental Company

点评：I recently had a deeply troubling experience with this company that I feel compelled to share. My wife, her mother, and a friend rented kayaks from this company, expecting a pleasant day on the river. Unfortunately, it turned into a nightmare.
Firstly, they got lost on the river as their friend injured with a tree. Despite repeated attempts to contact the company for assistance, no one answered the phone and send it to the voice mail. This lack of responsiveness is utterly unacceptable, especially considering the potentially dangerous situation they were in.
When they finally managed to return, they were charged a late fee. While I understand the need for such fees, the real issue was the company’s complete failure to provide support when it was urgently needed. To make matters worse, when my wife raised this issue with customer service, she was told she should have used Google Maps to come back quickly as the place didn’t even have signs. This suggestion was entirely inappropriate given the heavy rain at the time, making it unsafe to use a phone.
My wife was terrified throughout this ordeal, and the company’s lack of understanding and support only compounded the problem. This experience highlighted serious safety and customer service shortcomings.
When I tried to talk to the manager over the phone, I was told that I should teach my wife better and that they are not a rescue service. They even claimed that they had called my wife, but she doesn’t have any missed calls from them. We have proof that she tried to call multiple times, and the service was simply unhelpful.
I strongly advise anyone considering renting from this company to think twice. The safety and well-being of customers should always come first, and in our experience, this company failed in this regard.
