Five game drives in total…

点评：We were staying in Rhino Ridge lodge, at the edge of the park, so enjoyed 5 game drives here over three days.
It really is sheer luck what you see (or not). Overall, we did very well, but had we only done one drive, may well have felt disappointed.
Our biggest highlight was a wonderful close encounter with a group of African wild dogs (drive 3)!!! But we also had a lovely long sightings of a male rhino (drive 1), two male lion brothers (drive 2) and a hyena (drive 4), with a glimpse of an elephant (drive 1) and two frustratingly close encounters with elephants which we could clearly hear but no sighting (drives 4 and 5). Plenty of other wildlife too including many giraffe, zebra, nyala, impala, wildebeest and warthogs, plus a couple of mongoose sightings, African fish eagle and tawny eagles.
So, if you come without high expectations, hopefully you’ll be lucky.
