点评：I pretty much grew up in a canoe and have done a lot of tubing, so I thought a ride down Clear Creek would be great fun. Let me tell you, it was the exact opposite of fun. Taking an inner tube, which you cannot steer, through whitewater is the definition of insanity. There's a lot of things the outfitters don't tell you; one is that the rocks are extremely slick. Combine slick rocks with extremely swift water and you cannot stop and you cannot walk - you are completely at the mercy of the rolling water. A super crowded river adds to the danger. Another thing the outfitters don't tell you is that every year someone dies in Clear Creek. Google it. It's no joke. Unless the water is just extremely low, skip the tubing on Clear Creek and enjoy the rest that Golden has to offer.
