点评：We went to the point to experience a beautiful sunset and look for shells.
This is a perfect spot for doing so.
Be aware that there is only one very small free parking area on Coast Guard Drive.
You will then have to walk for several blocks to a public beach access.
On our way back we decided to take the nearest path back to the street by the "drive on entrance".
We ended up being attacked for unknowingly walking too close to a posted area protecting a "Waterbird Nesting and Foraging Area"
At first sight we thought this must be an area roped off protecting a sea turtle nesting ground. Areas like this are very common on many beaches and we always respect warnings not to walk in the roped off areas.
However this was not the case, it is in fact it a protected area for waterbirds.
The birds have expanded their nesting area outside of the warning signs and roped off area and will quickly attack you in large swarms if you walk any where near their nests.
Do not go any where near that area if you see it!
You have been warned! LOL
