Stanhope Open Air Swimming Pool的点评
点评：I am giving this a very good marking because it was a joy for me, as someone sensitive to chemicals, to be able to swim in an open air pool, with minimal chlorine content. No one says so but from the buoyancy in the water, I would say the pool is largely cleansed using brine. It was similar to swimming in the warm med. Heated by solar panels, and with good provision of sun loungers, it was immensely pleasurable to bask in the sunshine both in and out of the water. The only down side is that the tops of the pool sides were very black, as was the safety carpeting round the pool sides. If the pool sides had been fully tiled all the way up, this mght have helped, as time had been set aside for cleaning every day. The pool was quite dirty generally, as was the shower area. I managed to get changed outside on the way out, to avoid even entering the changing rooms. If cleaned up, I would give this pool 5 stars, and wholeheartedly recommend it everyone. Most users were locals, and they gave us a warm friendly welcome, as we were in town visiting relatives. Wishing the staff and users all the very best for the future of their unique outdoor pool.
