Navigating Kanazawa Station: Easy Shinkansen arrival and great staff assistance!

点评：Arriving on the Shinkansen (bullet train) was a breeze, the layout is intuitive and navigating your way into the city when you first arrive is straightforward. There is also plenty of shopping in the station as a nice bonus.
A major highlight for us was exchanging our JR Rail travel vouchers for physical tickets. There was an incredibly helpful staff member assisting people in the ticket line who spoke both English and French, which made sorting out our seat reservations for the right dates and times a smooth and stress-free experience.
A quick heads-up for bus travelers: Keep an eye on the platform layout. When looking for Platform 9, we could only find 1 through 8, only to realize that Platform 9 is actually on the opposite side of the station!
Top Tip: Don't assume all the bus stops are clustered together—if you can't find higher-numbered platforms, check the exit on the other side of the main concourse.
