Pretty Poor Breakfast Experience

点评：Went for a Sunday morning brunch. I am vegan and upon entry to the food court, I was delighted to see a vegan breakfast on the menu.
It did specify that certain vegetarian options may need to be replaced - fine.
Get it the till and my partner selects the same as me (vegan breakfast). We order extra toast as it didn’t seem a lot of food, but thought that would sort us.
The food took a fair while, but we weren’t in a rush. But, when it arrived, we essentially received a plate of mushrooms, beans, tomato and a couple of hash browns. It comes with toast, but bearing in mind we each ordered ‘extra’, we received 3 slices… Work that out! Most of the food was warm at best. The spread provided was also dairy butter, so we went to get the alternative.
My partner said that she believed we were due sausages (vegan), so she went to check the listing. Yes, sausages were due. She went to mention that we hadn’t received them to one of the staff. Apparently they are vegetarian only. I’m sorry, but so many decent ‘fake’ sausages are naturally vegan these days, so why not cater to both? It’s pretty poor.
It does state on the menu that anything removed from the vegetarian part (eggs, *clearly sausages, it seems*) can be replaced by vegan items. But, we were never asked and never knew what we were going to receive in the first part.
Essentially, for the price (£11.95, I believe), we were expecting a LOT more. I’m not expecting scrambled tofu, but just good value for money would be a start. Honestly, I think at £7-8, this breakfast would have been adequate, yet alone the nearly £12, PLUS extra for the toast…

我的伴侣说她觉得我们本来应该吃香肠（素食），所以她去查了一下菜单。没错，确实应该有香肠。她去跟一位工作人员提到我们没收到餐点。显然，这些餐点只提供素食。恕我直言，现在很多不错的“人造”香肠本身就是纯素的，为什么不两种都提供呢？这实在令人失望。
菜单上确实写着，从素食部分移除的任何食物（鸡蛋，*显然指的是香肠*）都可以替换成纯素食品。但是，我们从未被询问过，也根本不知道素食部分会是什么。
总之，就这个价格（我记得是11.95英镑）而言，我们期待的远不止这些。我并不指望能吃到炒豆腐，但至少应该物有所值吧。说实话，我觉得7-8英镑的价格还算可以接受，更何况现在将近12英镑，外加吐司的额外费用……
