A unique experience but not if windy
Saxholl Crater的点评
点评：There is a lovely view of the crater from the road. We visited on an incredibly windy day, so windy we could barely stand up in the carpark. We did wonder whether we should climb up but other people were, so we did! It was a bit of a struggle due to the strength of the wind, and we did stop half way up. At the top, we could again barely stand. There is a rope handrail running around the crater top which was what kept us upright. The wind was so strong I could barely take in the view, clinging onto the rope. When we got to the bottom the park ranger was standing up a sign which had blown over and was obviously advising people against going up, and he turned some people away. In hindsight, it was probably a very dangerous thing to do, but was an experience. On a not so windy day, i would definitely recommend it.
