点评:When visiting the National Park, it is well worth the short but quite steep climb to the old lighthouse. It is impossible to miss and just follow the path from the beach. In wet weather, the path will be quite slippery and in dry weather, some of the stone path is quite loose. It’s worth taking time on the path as every few metres the view changes. It does get quite busy at times and one of the main problems is that some visitors are very impatient on the path!
The views from the lighthouse and beyond are really fantastic with steep cliffs down into the sea. There are some very interesting rock formations along the way but sadly there was a considerable amount of litter scattered around.
However, it is certainly worth the effort and make sure camera batteries are fully charged! I wouldn’t recommend wearing flip flops on the loose stone.
Park in the National Park car park and head towards the lighthouse.
There are toilets and a small shop by the car park and National Park staff are very helpful. Foreigners have to pay considerably more to enter the National Park ( 200 baht) than locals but that is the practice in Thailand.
