Beyond Borders Tours的点评
点评：We spent 2 days touring the West Bank with Rami of Beyond Borders. On day 1 we toured East Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jericho. We also stopped in Taybeh to sample the beer at Taybeh Brewing. On Day 2 we visited Hebron, Bethlehem and the Mar Saba Monastery. It was the ideal itinerary for us. It provided us with new insights regarding Israeli/Palestinian issues as well as some interesting tourist sights.
Rami was a great tour guide. He responds quickly to emails and is well connected in the West Bank. We felt completely safe throughout the two days. Rami has lived in the US and speaks perfect English. He also provided a fairly balanced perspective on Israeli/Palestinian issues. (It seems difficult to get a similarly balanced perspective from Israeli guides.)
If you’re planning to visit Israel you should strongly consider spending a day or two touring Palestine with Beyond Borders. (Note that Israeli tour guides cannot take you to most of the relevant places in the West Bank.)
